About the Artist

Elizabeth Bernheisel’s art explores the boundless potential of color, shape, and line, which are deeply intertwined with her life experiences. Inspired by her grandfather, an artist and successful entrepreneur, she pursued creative businesses for many years before discovering her love of abstract painting.

Primarily self-taught, she honed her style by studying with master artists and experimenting with various media and styles.  Her vibrant and expressive work mirrors her passion for beautiful interiors, lush gardens, and the decorative arts.

Born and raised in the DC Metro area, she moved to sunny South Florida in 2020, embracing a full-time career as an abstract painter.  She quickly became active in the local art scene, showcasing her work at local galleries and Miami Art Week. Her work has garnered attention, being featured in prestigious publications such as Modern Luxury, Luxe, and Palm Beach Illustrated, as well as the Serena & Lily website and design shops

In her bright, spacious studio in the Warehouse District of West Palm Beach, Florida, Elizabeth continues to create captivating artworks that inspire and delight.
