Origins & Inspiration
Elizabeth’s creative journey began with her grandfather, both an artist and entrepreneur, whose influence sparked a lifelong love for art and the creative process. She grew up surrounded by his stories, sketches, and entrepreneurial spirit, which gave her an early appreciation for both artistry and the courage it takes to pursue it. Over the years, Elizabeth explored a variety of creative ventures, from decorative projects to design-inspired experiments, always searching for a medium that felt like home. That search eventually led her to painting, where she discovered that abstract expression allowed her to combine her love of beauty, intuition, and bold decision-making in a way no other practice could.
Artistic Process & Style
Primarily self-taught, Elizabeth has developed her style through persistence, mentorship, and fearless exploration. Along the way, she sought guidance from established master artists who encouraged her to lean into her own instincts and embrace experimentation. This willingness to push boundaries continues to shape her process today. Layer by layer, her paintings are built with rhythm, movement, and unexpected color combinations that create a sense of both energy and harmony. Her canvases invite the viewer to pause, look closer, and experience the subtle shifts of form and hue that reflect her ever-evolving curiosity as an artist.
South Florida & Current Studio
In 2020, Elizabeth relocated from the DC area to West Palm Beach, where the brilliant light, lush landscapes, and coastal beauty of South Florida quickly became a defining influence on her work. The vibrancy of her surroundings gave new life to her palette, inspiring her to work larger and with greater confidence in color. Today, she paints full time in her sunny West Palm Beach studio, a space filled with natural light, creative energy, and the freedom to explore bold new ideas. Her expressive works resonate deeply with collectors, designers, and art lovers who are drawn to the sense of joy and sophistication her paintings bring into a space.
